Once More with Hurt Feelings

a new original musical by Terry Kitchen

Once More with Hurt Feelings celebrates the friendship, courage and survival of outcasts amidst the pressures of overwhelming conformity.  Set in a small Midwest town on the eve of America's Bicentennial, Once More with Hurt Feelings asks the question "Who should be invited to the party?" and tunefully answers "All of us!"

When a gay student's intimate drawing of the town's star quarterback sets the school in an uproar, unlikely alliances develop to help the artist and his friends dent the town's walls of conformity and follow their dreams.

The songs of Once More with Hurt Feelings feature a warm '70s vibe, combining rock, folk and reggae grooves with deft characterizations that bring the show to life.
